DCU Lunchtime Concerts

3 musicians playing - one plays piano, one plays double bass and one plays drums

DCU Lunchtime Concert Series take place on St. Patrick’s campus each Wednesday during term time. The series is presented by the BAJH Lunchtime Concerts Committee, School of Theology, Philosophy and Music. It is a feast for the senses, featuring incredible talent here at DCU, both staff and students as well as renowned guest artists. Expect Jazz, Traditional, Contemporary, Classical music and more.

These concerts are open to the public. No booking necessary.

Time: 1.10 to 1.50pm

  • 29th January - Martin O'Leary (piano)
  • 5th February - In Cloak and Womb: Echoes of Brigid. Sive / Clara Rose / Sharon Murphy (vocal trio)
  • 5th March - Kieran Moynihan (flute, piccolo) & Fionnuala Moynihan (piano)
  • 12th March - DCU Jazz- BAJMCP students with Greg Felton (piano) Curated by Jenna Harris 
  • 19th March - Patrice Brun (saxophones), Greg Llyod (piano), Dave Mooney (double bass) 
  • 26th March - BAJH Music Groups. Curated by Róisín Nic Athlaoich)
  • 2nd April - DCU Music Society Choir. Conductor: John O'Flynn*

*The concert on 2nd April will take place in the Chapel, St Patricks Campus
