Bookmarked: Drumcondra a Literature-Loving Community
Bookmarked is a vibrant, six-month initiative designed to nurture a thriving literature-loving community in the heart of Drumcondra. We aim to cultivate a lasting culture that celebrates reading, writing, and the power of storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from Drumcondra's rich literary heritage—home to renowned Irish writers and steeped in history—we will sow the seeds for a community where Irish fiction, poetry, creative writing, and spoken word flourish. Through engaging events, workshops, book clubs and collaborative projects, we invite you to join us in building a vibrant space where the love of literature connects us all.
All events are FREE and open to everyone! (*except 'closed' school events)
This project is kindly supported by Dublin City Council Community Arts Grant 2024.
