Ageless Expressions - Age Friendly University

This exhibition showcased the creative work produced by participants of Age-Friendly Universities (AFU) throughout the year.

It offered a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate the artistic endeavours, talents, and contributions of individuals engaged in AFU programs. The exhibition highlighted the creativity and vibrancy of older adults actively participating in lifelong learning and cultural enrichment through diverse mediums such as visual arts, literature, and more. It provided an opportunity for staff and the public to immerse themselves in an inspiring showcase of artistic expression and recognize the valuable contributions of AFU participants to DCU and the broader community.

A publication, “Bouquet of Botanical Delights”, showcasing  Botanical Art, was launched at the event.

There were over 80 pieces of artwork presented at the exhibition, in addition to 6 pieces of upcycled furniture.

The exhibition drew in 500+ people over four days on St. Patricks Campus, Glasnevin Campus, Baldoyle Library and Raheny Library
