Kids' Digital Lives in Covid Times (KiDiCoTi)

A national study conducted by DCU's National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre

Speaker: Dr. Tijana Milosevic, Elite-S Research Fellow

Kids' Digital Lives in Covid Times (KiDiCoTi) is an international research project organised by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in more than 10 European countries, and led by the National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (ABC) in Ireland.

Researchers looked into how children and families used digital media during the lockdown--if there has been an increase in risks such as cyberbullying and other types of online harms; the overall wellbeing of the family in relation to digital technology; children's technology use for school purposes and their attitudes and concerns.

The presentation will feature key findings from the survey research with children age 10-18 and one of their parents.
