An evening of talks on the search for life, binary stars, bouncing universes and what is inside black holes.
For the 5th year running, the Centre for Astrophysics & Relatvity at Dublin City University hosts its evening of talks to celebrate SpaceWeek. This year we will explore what's inside black holes, how we search for signs of life and why binary stars are so interesting. The schedule for the evening is:
6:00 - 6:30: "What's inside a black hole?", Dr Brien Nolan
6:30 - 7:00: "Bouncing Universes", Dr Aindriú Conroy
7:00 - 7:30: Break
7:30 - 8:00: "The search for signs of life", Dr Konstantinos Gkrintzalis
8:00 - 8:30: "Why are binary stars so interesting?" Mr Sam McKeague
