DCU’s Institute for Research on Genders and Sexualities (IRGS) and Notre Dame Kylemore are hosting an inaugural annual feminist writing retreat at the Notre Dame Kylemore,  Kylemore Abbey, Co Galway on 16th-21st Feb 2025. 

The vision is to give writers, academics, researchers and activists a week of peace, motivation and inspiration among a group of fellow minded feminists that will help them pursue their writing aspirations in all shapes, genres and forms.

Attendees will have ensuite individual accommodation at Kylemore Abbey. They will be free to pursue their own creative projects, to be shared with other attendees on the last day of the retreat.
