The DCU Conflict Institute hosted a seminar on Tuesday 5th November 2024 with Professor Ben Tonra (University College Dublin). He addressed the timely and controversial topic of 'A Geopolitical European Union - Myth or Reality?'.
He reflected on the global role of the European Union and what its approach to recent crises and conflicts has revealed, notably with regard to its strategy, its unity and its instruments.
