MSc in Climate Change: Policy, Media & Society

This is a Masters programme run by centre members in conjunction with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at DCU. It is a one-year (fulltime), or two-year (part-time) programme which looks at societal responses to climate change across a range of arenas: media, policy, politics, education, film etc., and introduces students to perspectives and concepts from the social sciences and humanities.

A key module in semester 1 introduces students to the science of climate change, and then the other modules build up and out to examine how and why, given the clear message from the physical sciences, societies have been so slow to implement meaningful climate action.
