Research Fellow

Dr Mariel Musso 

Dr. Mariel F. Musso is a Research Fellow at CARPE.  She has a PhD in Psychology (University of San Luis, Argentina, 2007) and PhD in Educational Sciences (KU Leuven University, Belgium, 2016).  Dr. Musso has been an international consultant in many national assessment projects for Assessment Group International and the World Bank, in countries of Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Europe. She previously held the positions of Associate Researcher at CONICET, Argentina and Professor in the Department of Psychology at UADE University, Argentina. She has published many papers in journals, several book chapters, and is a member of various international professional associations with regular participation in their conferences (European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction, International Union of Psychological Science, Psychonomic Society, Association for Psychological Science, and Cognitive Science Society). Her main areas of interest lie in self-regulated learning, modeling of cognitive processes, machine-learning methods in education, and new methods in educational assessment.
