Brian Whelan and Yifan Zhu, Site Reliability Engineers at Google will be on campus from 13:00 -14:00 to talk about summer internship opportunities available for students at Google.  The internship opportunities being discussed at this event primarily relate to Software Engineering/Site Reliability Engineering. 

During the presentation, they will focus on:

  • The technical internship interview process 
  • Their personal experiences as an Interns
  • A little about the role of SRE at Google
  • Q & A (time permitting)

About: Brian Whelan and Yifan Zhu, both recent graduates from Trinity College Dublin, have joined Google as SREs this year following successful internship experiences. Brian completed two Software Engineering internships at Google's Warsaw office in 2022 and 2023, while Yifan gained diverse experience through a STEP internship in Paris in 2021 and two Software Engineering internships in Dublin in 2022 and 2023.
