International Autobiography Association, Europe Conference, 2025

The International Autobiography Association (IABA) Europe Conference 2025 will take place at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, between the 23 rd and 26 th of July. The conference theme this year is ‘Life-writing and Social Transformation’.

A call for papers is now open and will remain so till 15 January 2025. The conference organisers are inviting submissions from individuals and panels. They welcome 20-minute individual presentations and 90-minute panel sessions (preferably interdisciplinary and international). The conference will be held in English, but French, Spanish, and Portuguese languages are also accepted. Abstracts should not be longer than 300 words; bios should not be longer than 150 words.
