Press Play on Childhood this Christmas
This Christmas, we're asking DCU staff and students to Press Play on Childhood. This fundraiser follows on from the huge success of the Climb Every Mountain Challenge over the summer, in which DCU staff raised over €16,000 for Barretstown! Our hopes and ambitions are high that this latest campaign will raise funds for very sick children and their families.
How does it work?
It’s simple and flexible.
We’re encouraging staff and students to don your flashiest Christmas jumper to your virtual coffee catch ups or virtual Christmas parties and gift a donation to Barretstown at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/DCU.
Create your own Christmas jumper event and donate through our Just Giving link.
This is just one idea. You could also:
- donate to Barretstown in lieu of Kris Kindle,
- run a fundraiser in your class or team or
- simply donate through our Just Giving link.
There is no set amount for donation, please donate what you can.

Donate before Friday 18th December
This campaign is live until Friday December 18th and we’ll announce how much we’ve raised in early January.
