Event organiser Olivia McGinn said all bakers are welcome regardless of experience.
‘We know there are lots of secret star bakers in DCU - so we’re calling on them to show off their talents and get baking for Barretstown.
‘We think everyone has a showstopper in them - this event is fun, so all efforts are appreciated.
‘Bakers will make their entry at home and bring to DCU the following morning. The event will open at 10.30am for judging and photography.
‘DCU staff and students who haven’t entered are more than welcome to attend and show their support - and sample the efforts once the judging has taken place. Members of DCU Barretstown committee will also be there shaking some buckets to raise funds for Barretstown,’
The DCU Bake Off is the latest event from the DCU Barretstown Committee.
