Library Supports

DCU has two physical libraries, as well as an online catalogue. The Cregan Library is located on the St Pats campus, while O’Reilly is in Glasnevin. Staff are delighted to help any student access the information they need, so always feel free to ask questions. During regular library hours, staff will be located at a reception desk close to the entrance of each library, so you can easily find someone to answer your queries. They offer library tours to help you feel comfortable in the space. Library staff have received training to help them better understand the autistic experience and how to make the library more autism-friendly. They know that learning the rules and procedures of a library can be intimidating for everyone, which is why they are redesigning their website to make things as clear and predictable as possible. They are also happy to talk you through all library procedures, so just ask!
