Awardees return to view DCU Alumni Awards Wall

Several DCU Alumni Awardees for 2023 returned to campus this week to visit the Alumni Awards wall that spotlights our award winners and their achievements.

Situated in the O'Reilly Library on the Glasnevin campus, the wall showcases each year the outstanding Alumni who have been the recipients of the DCU Alumni Awards. The wall is also in place at DCU's St Patrick's Campus.

DCU President Professor Dáire Keogh welcomed Sorcha Edwards, Kevin Shorthall, Maria Kinsella and their guests as well as Carmel Cranston and Emeritus Professor Saleem Hashmi from the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering who attended on behalf of awardee Zia Karim who is based in the US.

Prof Keogh talked about how the Wall showcases the breadth and importance of the work DCU alumni are involved in and that their contributions would be an inspiration to current and future students.

Guests then enjoyed refreshments on the terrace of the Albert College building.

Nominations are now open for the 2024 Awards.
