Inaugural DCU Alumni Awards 2017
The Inaugural DCU Alumni Awards were held on February 17th, 2017 in The Helix. Hosted by alumni Róisín O'Hara (Presenter, TG4) and Damian McEvoy (Northern Trust Securities Services), the night kicked off with an uplifting performance from DCU Gospel Choir, ten alumni became recipients of a place on the DCU Alumni Wall and five others were acknowledged for their achievements throughout their careers. With further entertainment provided by Seo Linn and three generations of DCU Drama, the night celebrated alumni that are currently in top positions in major companies around the world, spearheading social change, making history in sport and news and as graduates of a young university, are rapidly making their way to the top in all fields of society.
