DCU AFU's Digital Clinic a Great Success!
Yesterday, March 25th, DCU Age-Friendly University’s Digital Clinic was a fantastic success, bringing together older adults and student volunteers for a day of hands-on digital support.
Participants had the opportunity to explore technology with confidence, receiving one-on-one guidance on using smartphones, laptops, and other digital tools. The event fostered an atmosphere of learning, collaboration, and intergenerational connection.
Attendee Edna Traynor shared her enthusiasm for the initiative:
"This is a wonderful initiative! The students were kind and helpful. Looking forward to another Digital Clinic."
A huge thank you to our incredible student volunteers, whose patience and expertise made this event possible. Their dedication ensures that older adults can continue to build their digital skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.
