DCU AFU Participates in the Cicerone Initiative: Showcasing Local Artistic Heritage

DCU AFU is excited to take part in the Cicerone Initiative, a collaborative programme focused on exploring and showcasing local artistic heritage. The initiative brings together participants from different countries to share insights into their national art, literature, and creative traditions.

The term Cicerone refers to a knowledgeable guide, and this programme serves as a platform for participants to act as cultural guides, presenting and learning about the artistic heritage of various nations. A key aspect of the programme is its interactive and international approach, allowing participants and educators to exchange knowledge and experiences with peers from other countries.

The initiative is primarily conducted online, utilizing Google Meet for virtual sessions. Additionally, a special translation platform is integrated, enabling participants to engage in discussions in their native languages with real-time translation, fostering seamless cross-cultural communication.
