Description:
This course will focus on hand printing. Over 8 weeks, participants will learn how to make lino prints in colour with multiple blocks. During the course, we will learn how to plan out and compose images, transfer them to lino, explore mark making and carving, delve into colour mixing and colour combinations, and register multi-colour prints.
Each person will make an individual print, and we will work together on a large group print. All materials will be supplied.

This course will cover the fundamentals of exposure and composition, and how to apply theory to your creativity and expression.
Learn how to take manual control of your camera and how each setting affects your image. These concepts are universal across all cameras, whether you have a professional digital SLR or mirrorless camera, a compact point and shoot, a film camera, or even your smartphone.
You will be taken on field trips into real world photographic scenarios from the urban cityscape, to rural landscapes, and will encounter a wide variety of subjects.
The skills you acquire on this course will help you tell stories through your photography, and can be applied to all genres of photography from photographing people, still life, nature and wildlife, to documenting your own special occasions, family events and holidays. Suitable for all.
