Psychology is not only for students, academics and therapists. An appreciation of psychology improves our understanding of ourselves, why others behave the way they do, and a wide range of issues from health to relationships, financial decision-making to societal challenges, well-being to rituals and more. It is a theoretical and applied field that considers individuals, groups and society; for example, how people learn (individual), the benefits of study groups (groups), and how to improve education policy (society), and it is relevant to every aspect of our lives. This module has content and approaches different from the Autumn 2023 module.
