What is happening in Ireland during Global Intergenerational Week?
Hibernia College Research Webinar:
You are invited to attend Hibernia College’s Research Webinar: “The role of story in strengthening intergenerational bonds in primary education”. The webinar takes place on April 27th from 6pm to 7pm.
Dr Margaret Kernan and Fíona Mc Ardle will present their work on intergenerational learning in primary education and discuss other initiatives, in Ireland and internationally, that connect primary schools with community and illustrate a diversity of learning relationships between children and older adults.
Attendees are required to register in advance.

Athy community arts centre's willow weaving workshop:
Have you ever thought about learning to weave with willow?
The Athy community arts centre is organising a willow weaving taster workshop on Saturday, 29th April as part of Global Intergenerational Week.
The event will take place from 11am to 1pm at the Athy community arts centre, Woodstock Street Athy Co Kildare.
This is a great opportunity to share a lovely moment with friends and family members and to learn something new.
