Intergenerational Sociology Discussion
“It’s not about the age, it’s about the person”.
If there is one thing to remember from today’s discussion, it is that people should not be seen for their age, but for who they are.
Today, we reflected on the power of intergenerational connections and how they can create positive change in our communities. We kicked off Global Intergenerational Week with a thought-provoking discussion between older and younger generations about ageism and intergenerational practice.
It was amazing to hear everyone's perspectives and experiences and to witness this enlightening and respectful exchange between older and younger people. Everybody was really involved in the discussion and it was good to see!
Join us in celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion across generations during Global Intergenerational Week!🌍
