DCU Age-Friendly is pleased to support and endorse the efforts of colleagues in The Global Network of Associations & Networks: Retirees Developing Silver Economy, who work to encourage professors' emeriti to be actively involved in its development to inform policy and meet their needs. Professor Emeriti are well positioned to inform and contribute its interdisciplinary expertise towards developing the Silver Economy and, on the UN Day of Older People, October 1st, 2022, call upon Ministers, Decision Makers, and Municipalities globally to appoint a specific Minister for Older People.
