International Women's Day 2022

This year for International Women's Day, DCU's Age-friendly University decided to interview some of their students and ask them what it was like growing up as a woman in Ireland.

Meet Mary, Helen, Trish and Maria and hear their stories about what it was like being a woman in the workplace and during school. It's important to look back on the progress that has been made, we have certainly come a long way.
