February 5th - Social Media - Ms. Jane Last - Head of Digital Communications DCU

Jane is responsible for social media in DCU - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc and will deliver a presentation on how social media is managed and how you can maximise your social media, stay protected and remain in touch.

February 14th - 3 D Printing - Prof. Dermot Barbazon

A special lecture has been organised for Friday February 14th from 11 - 12 on 3D Printing in room HG17 Nursing Buiding DCU Glasnevin.
Pror. Brabazon is leading a research team in this cutting edge technology which looks at harnessing 3D printing to print for example food.  A practical application to his research examines how food can be customised for athletes, those needing specialised diets and older people. The dreamers who conceived Star Trek in 60's - the possibilities of space travel, time travel and mobile devices - Prof Brabazon is one who is making these dreams a reality.
