Age Friendly Ireland event

Dublin City Council and Age Friendly Ireland launched  the Dublin City Age Friendly Strategy in City Hall. The move is the latest step in making Ireland one of the first age-friendly countries in the world, where older people are valued and their needs are considered.  DCU’s President Brian Mac Craith holds a seat on the Board of Age Friendly Ireland (AFI). In line with making Ireland age-friendly, President Mac Craith has already appointed Ms Christine O'Kelly to the position of Age Friendly University co-ordinator  in Dublin City University.
