DCU Ability began working with Applegreen in 2019.
The Applegreen sites provide a wide range of training opportunities for our participants as well as the chance to be part of a large supportive team.
Internship Progamme
  • DCU Ability have piloted an internship programme with Applegreen, with successful candidates being offered paid contracts of employment.
  • The internship includes experience and training in the retail, catering and customer service skills and is supported and monitored by the team.
  • The DCU Ability team continue to work with Applegreen so that we can offer this internship programme to our participants in the future.
  • The presence of local Applegreen sites close to our participants’ communities allows scope for the partnership to develop and expand in the future.
