DCU Volunteer
Volunteer Helpdesk
Taking place every second Tuesday in the U Building from 12:30-2:30pm, the Volunteer Helpdesk provides a chance for a charitable or civic organisation, or local community group, to chat with students face-to-face.
This allows a space for organisations to increase awareness of their volunteering opportunities, sign up volunteers, and encourage those passing by to get involved with their cause.
So far, in the 2024/2025 academic year, we have welcomed the following organisations to our Helpdesk:
- Feed Our Homeless
- St. Michael's House
- The HOPE Foundation
- Dublin Community Support
- Husky Rescue Ireland
- Foróige
- Enable Ireland
