DCU's internship programme (INTRA) has been at the heart of the DCU experience for more than 30 years. It is an accredited and highly valued part of student learning and is a compulsory part of many DCU courses.

Description

Returning to study as a mature student is an important and life changing decision. Orla will take you through the DCU Head Start Programme (Head Start Welcome, Self-Care, Learning, Writing, Maths, IT for academic life), designed to help you to make a successful transition to third-level maths by improving the basic skills you will need for your course before you start lectures. 

Sarah is a final year mature student of the BSc in Psychology degree and will talk about her entry pathway as a mature student and her experiences in DCU.

personal responsibility and social challenges such as making new
friends and getting involved in sports, clubs and societies. Our
Students’ Union will offer sound advice on successfully making
