Why you chose DCU?
For me it was the atmosphere on campus and the staff that made me choose DCU I was always up and down to campus in secondary school so I got a really good feel for the place. The staff were also a major influence for me as I was talking to a few of them at the open days and they had great personalities and knew what they were talking about.
One unique part of your course
We are out on placement in first year so we get a taste of what it's actually like to work in a hospital by the end of first semester of first year so we aren't sitting in lectures for a year or two before we get practical experience.
Best thing about DCU so far?
Besides my degree the best thing about DCU is definitely clubs and societies. Between the 120 we have on campus there is always something going on and it's also how one gotten to know some of my very good friends from college. It's so easy to get involved and it really is the highlight of college life for me.
Plans after DCU?
Ok so plans after DCU are work for a year as a nurse then go back to college to do the higher diploma in midwifery and then travel for a few years.
