Value and Develop our Staff Community: Year 1 Update
DCU proudly achieved Athena Swan Silver status this year. We now have nine academic schools with the Bronze Award designation. The first year of the Strategy saw the wide scale rollout of the new Performance Review and Development (PRD) system with over 90% of staff having completed, or in the process of completing, their PRD. A new website was launched to coincide with the reorganisation and renaming of the HR function to ‘DCU People.’ A new Learning & Development Strategy was developed as well as a new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan.We enhanced workforce planning and recruitment with a new, robust Strategic Workforce Planning process and improved recruitment and selection methods.
