Pioneer a Transformative Student Experience: Year 1 Update

During Year 1 of the strategy we responded to the growing prevalence of AI by having a revised Academic Integrity Policy implemented. Significant progress was made towards increasing the number of students coming to DCU from the Further Education and Training sector while Faculties have plans in place for more short form and off campus learning initiatives. DCU Care and Connect was rolled out across the University with goals under this initiative agreed. A comprehensive gap analysis of all student supports was conducted to ensure continuous alignment with emerging needs in this area. The new Student Information System was implemented for all students registering in September 2024 and functionality continues to be rolled out as the academic year progresses.
