The Doctorate in Psychotherapy (DPsych) is a level 10 NFQ (240 credit) programme, delivered as a four-year part-time programme.

The MSc in Health and Social Inclusion (subject to accreditation) (Level 9 NFQ, 90 ECTS) is a one-year, full-time or two-year, part-time, programme.

This programme is due to have an intake in September 2022, subject to accreditation.  Expressions of interest are currently being gathered and will be notified once the programme is open to applications. 

Our new nursing masters at DCU, the MSc in Specialist Nursing / Midwifery for Future Healthcare (subject to accreditation by DCU and NMBI) (Level 9 NFQ, 90 ECTS) is a two-year, part-time, blended programme with combined theoretical and clinical components offered to all nurses and midwives on the NMBI register.

This programme is due to have an intake in September 2022, subject to accreditation.  Expressions of interest are currently being gathered and will be notified once the programme is open to applications.  

The MSc in Child and Family Health and Wellbeing (subject to accreditation) (Level 9 NFQ, 90 ECTS) is a two-year, part-time, blended-learning programme that provides students with an opportunity to complete an interdisciplinary programme of study focused on the theories and practice of promoting holistic child and family health and wellbeing in an integrated way.

This programme is due to have an intake in September 2022, subject to accreditation.  Expressions of interest are currently being gathered and will be notified once the programme is open to applications. 

The MSc in Psychotherapy is a four-year part-time professional training programme at Level 9 NFQ (120 credits). Students may exit after two years with a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy (60 credits; although please note that the Graduate Diploma is not a qualification to practice psychotherapy). The MSc programme is an integrative psychotherapy training programme, focused on working with adult clients (individuals and couples), and comprising taught modules in the theory and practice of humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic and systemic approaches.

The Professional Diploma in Clinical Supervision (30 credits at NFQ Level 9) is a university-accredited programme, delivered on a part-time basis, over one academic year. It comprises of two modules, 'Theoretical and Conceptual Approaches to Supervision' (20 credits) and module 'Professional Supervision Practice' (10 credits).

The Graduate Certificate in Dermatology is open to nurses and midwives working in a variety of settings who encounter people presenting with skin conditions including those requiring minor surgical skin procedures. The programme is delivered by leading experts in the field of dermatology including registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners and medical experts.

The Graduate Certificate in Relationships and Sexuality Education for People with Intellectual Disability is a unique programme offering specialist educational training in the area of friendships, relationships, sexuality and sexual health. It will reflect issues relating to all sexualities in Irish, European and global contexts.
