MILK Screening - Wednesday 16 December 2015 @ 7pm
This screening of Milk is being hosted by Cuidiú Dublin North County branch, The School of Nursing & Human Sciences DCU and the Irish Forum for Global Health.
What is the film about? Milk is a film/documentary that follows the stories of mothers from different cultures on a world journey spanning 11 countries.
Through an intimate and artistic lens, Milk brings a universal perspective on the politics, commercialization and controversies surrounding birth and infant feeding over the canvas of stunningly beautiful visuals and poignant voices from around the globe. Inspiring, informative, provocative and sensitive, Milk celebrates bringing a new life into this world with a strong call to action and reflection. After the screening there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session with the director of this film Noemà Weis by Skype.
