Research Summary:

I am currently studying a full-time PhD conducting research with the Football Association of Ireland. My research is funded by the Irish Research Council under the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme. This research aims to evaluate and refine the player development pathway and underage infrastructure of Irish football. The research undertakes a mixed-methods approach, examining various aspects of player development, including physical, physiological and psychosocial elements of player development.
