Research Summary: The main aim of my research is to investigate the biomechanical risk factors for running-related injuries using wearable sensor technology and motion analysis. To date, my research has been predominantly qualitative in nature, exploring recreational runners' perceptions of running-related injuries and wearable technologies. Using multiple methods of data collection, we hope to conduct a prospective and longitudinal study to further our understanding of the biomechanical risk factors of injuries.
