Meet two of our current students, who work with outreach officers to promote the University of Sanctuary scholarship.

Our two Student Ambassadors, Maryna and Joshua. Maryna is doing an MSc in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, and Joshua is doing the MSc in Finance.

"As a person who fled the war in Ukraine, I struggled to find my place in Ireland. DCU University of Sanctuary was my only chance to access a higher education. Thanks to the scholarship and lots of other support within the Sanctuary, I will be able to use my skills fully and contribute to Irish society as a way to thank this country for my future work—and to just be the most happy and accomplished person I can be. Most importantly, I met so many kind and talented people at Dublin City University, and these precious connections will always be with me." - Maryna
