The DCU Retiree Community has more than 500 members, most of whom keep in touch with the University through an array of activities aimed at both retirees and the wider DCU community.
While we appreciate the ending of your dcu.ie email and associated drive will cause some level of inconvenience for a number of you, we assure you that we do this to ensure better data governance and practices, while further mitigating the risk of a cybersecurity threat to the University. To address the areas of data governance, best practices and cybersecurity, the University has created a new 'Digital Identity Policy' which now applies to all staff in the University which can be viewed here.
We have outlined the various reasons on our Retiree Switch FAQ page here.
We kindly ask that you stay connected with DCU and avail of the opportunities that are available to our retiree community.
If you wish to provide us with your personal email address through the form below, we can keep you up to date with life here at DCU through all the latest news, updates and event invitations.
We have outlined below a number of steps in the process - but if you are experiencing any difficulty, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team at retiree.switch@dcu.ie or come to one of our in-person clinics on campus. Details of the DCU Retiree Switch clinics are outlined further down this webpage.
We know a significant number of our DCU retiree community already use a personal email address when communicating with DCU, and have been using this for some time now. If you are one of these people, we kindly ask that you still review your dcu.ie account and drive to ensure you have everything they need before the accounts are closed. If you are using a personal email address, or wish to receive communications from DCU to a personal email address in the future, please give us your details below. As a way to say 'thank you', all submissions on this form will be entered into a draw to win one of three €100 'One For All' vouchers.
