Bridget Flanagan
Dr

Bridget Flanagan is an Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Education at DCU Institute of Education. Prior to her move to initial teacher education, Bridget previously worked as a primary teacher for eleven years and contributed to the delivery of continuing professional development on Aistear, Ireland’s early childhood curriculum framework. Bridget completed her Mastersin Education in 2011, Diploma in Educational Leadership in 2016 and most recently, her Doctoral research in 2021. Her research interests include STEM education, mathematics education, early childhood pedagogy, teacher professional development and Lesson Study.
