Sobia Jangsher is an Assistant Professor in School of Electronic Engineering with Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. She received her PhD from The University of Hong Kong in the field of Optimization for wireless communication in 2015. Prior to joining DCU, She has worked an Assistant Professor for the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan fro  Nov' 2015 - Jan 2021. From Jan' 2021 - Feb '2023,  she was associated with Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Her research mainly focuses on optimization/resource allocation for IRS systems, multiple access schemes and small cell networks. She has also interests in the application of AI/ML for wireless communication.  She has authored over 50 research articles including peer reviewed journals and conference and workshop proceedings in well known journals and conferences in the field of wireless communication.
