 Dr Emma Nicholson is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology.

Emma’s research interests focus on health inequities for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioural and systems factors that influence parent’s health-seeking for their children, as well as inclusive research and participatory methods for children and young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Prior to joining the School of Psychology in DCU, Emma was a Research Fellow in the UCD Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, Education and Innovation in Health Systems (UCD IRIS Centre).
