I am an assistant professor in the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies at Dublin City University. My research interests include foreign language education and language teacher education. I am particularly interested in pedagogy and assessment in the context of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, as well as technology-enhanced language teaching and learning.
I welcome applications from prospective PhD students interested in the areas of foreign language teaching and learning, especially with a focus on Chinese, English, and Russian. I am also interested in collaborating with students on research related to language teacher education and the professional development of language teachers.
