DCU Researchers Win Best Paper Awards at ISBE
DCU researchers were very successful at the 39th Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Conference (ISBE) 2016 in Paris, 27-28 October. Dr. Roisín Lyons (DCUBS), Professor Theo Lynn (DCUBS) and Dr. Ciarán Mac an Bhaird (Fiontar) were awarded Best Paper in the Enterprise Education Track. Their paper was entitled "Examining the effect of gender diversity in student entrepreneurship teams".
Ciarán Mac an Bhaird also received a Best Paper award in the Networks and Innovation Track, with a paper entitled "Collaborative Business Models: Networking Processes in the Craft Beer Sector". This paper was co-authored with Professor Sarah Dodd and Dr. Juliette Wilson (Strathclyde University), and Dr. Angelo Bisignano (Nottingham Trent University).
Another paper from this research team was presented by Dr. Mac an Bhaird in the Finance track, entitled "Alternative sources of entrepreneurial finance: Evolution or passing fad?".
