Join this session for hints and tips by Erasmus+ evaluators from across the ECIU Consortium on how to make your KA2 Erasmus+ proposal stronger! Writing a successful KA2 Erasmus+ funding proposal does not only require careful planning and attention to the call and application form details, but it also needs to consider the way the evaluators will “scan” your proposal and the answers to the evaluation questions they will search for in the proposal. Come and hear directly from colleagues who have evaluated E+ proposals.

The session will provide an overview of the funding opportunities in the Erasmus+ Call 2025, and guidance on submitting a proposal. This will include information about TORA, Research Finance, and project management from the colleagues expert in these areas. We will also hear from a PI about their experience of participating in an Erasmus+ projects.
The session is aimed primarily at those planning to apply for project funding under the Erasmus+ 2025 call, whether as coordinator or partner. It will also be useful as a general introduction to the funding opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme and the processes related to applying for external research funding.

Join us on the picturesque grounds of Barretstown on 30th January 2025, exactly one year after our initial event, for the launch of a resource on Ethical Collaboration with Children and Young People in Research.
This resource, shaped by the insights and discussions from the event held on 30th January 2024, is designed to support researchers working in partnership with children and young people.
Organised by the PPI Ignite Network at DCU, Barretstown, and TUSLA, the launch will feature speakers who will share the journey of the resource's development, including its consultation process and key reflections.
This event offers a unique opportunity for researchers and academics specializing in children’s and young people’s research to connect, exchange insights, and contribute to advancing ethical practices in this critical area.
Special Highlight
Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to explore the beautiful grounds of Barretstown, offering them a glimpse into the significant and positive work the charity does for children, enhancing the overall experience of the workshop.
