A dedicated SFI webpage has been set up to serve as a central hub for all Future Research Centre Programme resources. SFI invites all researchers to visit the webpage at SFI Research Centres Programme to access the Expert Panel Report and to view the recorded webinar which took place on the 24th May 2023.
SFI have also uploaded a document which details each of the key recommendations of the expert panel and how SFI has considered these recommendations in the development of the future programme. The dedicated mailbox 2023Centres@sfi.ie is open for feedback from the research community and closes on the 7th June 2023.
The call is due to open in Q3 2023.

The Call for Expert Evidence to support and inform the preparation of Climate Action Plan 2024, was launched by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications on the 23rd of May and will be open for just under 8 weeks, closing on Friday, 14th July.
This call seeks submissions and evidence-based views from expert stakeholders, academic institutions, researchers, and analysts in the climate, energy, environment and industry sectors.
Submissions can be made online through the consultation platform or via email to CallforEvidence@decc.gov.ie
This month saw the launch of DCU’s dedicated Research Impact web page.
This page serves as a showcase for impact case studies, the university’s latest Q1 journal publications, and major funding successes. The page will play a key role in research communications both internally and externally.
In order to facilitate phase 2 of the Agresso and TORA systems upgrade and migration project, Agresso and TORA systems will be offline for all users from 5pm on Tuesday 27th June 2023 until 4pm on Wednesday 5th July 2023. You will not be able to access Agresso or TORA during this period.
A notification will issue from the Finance Systems team on 5th July 2023 once Phase 2 go-live is completed, and the system is accessible once more.
We appreciate your support with this project. Further information on Phase 3, which is the final phase of this project, will issue later in the year.
