DCU researchers across all faculties and career stages are invited to an internal consultation, led by DCU representatives, to discuss the opportunities within ECIU University, ways the network can best support the research community, and what should be its strategic focus for research going forward.
Two events will be held across DCU campuses with tea, coffee and pastries provided. Please register your attendance below:

DCU Library's summer programme of workshops for staff and researchers will run from 7th - 22nd June 2023. All sessions will be online or hybrid.
Morning sessions include a variety of topics such as open publishing, tracking citations, data cleaning, managing references and an introduction to DCU Library’s growing Digital Research Collections and will be delivered by our expert team of Library staff.
Afternoon sessions will be delivered by invited guests who will provide training on a specific online database or platform. Whether you are new to these resources or just want a refresher you are sure to pick up some useful tips.

This aim of this session is to support PIs to plan and prepare over the summer months to apply for funding for collaborative projects under the Erasmus+ programme in 2024.
Participants will be guided through the range of Erasmus+ Key Action 2 projects, helping potential applicants to identify suitable project types and potential partners, and to start developing their proposals.

CTLS (Core Technologies for Life Sciences) is a networking non-profit association that brings together scientists, technical and administrative staff working across the world in core facilities, research infrastructures and other shared resource laboratories.
The 5th CTLS Congress will be hosted in Dublin, Ireland from June 27th to 29th, 2023.
We are delighted to present a diverse range of topics for the CTLS 2023 Congress, which include:

The Research Development team will facilitate a proposal development workshop for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship call on Tuesday, 11th Juy 2023.
At the workshop, the team will go through the various sections of the application form and provide tips and suggestions on completing each section.

Venue: Autonomous University of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
The inaugural ECIU University Research Conference ‘Engaging society through challenge-based R&I and learning’ will take place in the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) on the 3rd – 4th October 2023.
The event provides an interactive forum for the research community and external stakeholders across Europe to network and discuss common challenges faced under SDG 11 ‘Sustainable cities and communities’.
As part of the programme, ECIU University has launched an open call for challenges, inviting participants to submit a well-defined, open problem relevant to SDG 11. Selected challenges will be jointly addressed during interactive sessions at the event. Please note the call deadline for challenges has been extended to Tuesday 6th June.
The conference is also running an open call for PhD posters, closing Tuesday 6th June.
Registration to the event is free and a limited number of mobility grants will be available to support travel costs.
