Research Newsletter – Issue 63: Information and Updates
There are now a total of 16 'Read & Publish' agreements in place with various publishers (including Elsevier, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and Springer) allowing DCU authors (both staff and students) to publish Gold Open Access in almost 10,000 individual journal titles at no cost to themselves.
For the titles included in these IReL negotiated deals, article processing charges (APCs) will be covered as part of the agreement, ensuring DCU authors can maximise accessibility (and citability) of the published research without having to worry about the associated charges. What's more, all articles published Open Access (OA) via these agreements are fully Plan S compliant.
For more details on these agreements and the 10,000 titles included please see DCU library's guide on open access agreements or contact Fran Callaghan, Research Communications Librarian (fran.callaghan@dcu.ie).
Sophie has recently joined the Research Development Team and will provide expert advice and support on the preparation and content of competitive ERASMUS+ funding applications. Note: if you are already registered as an expert answering one of the previous calls for expressions of interest, and if you have opted to be eligible for all programmes, you will remain available in the database for current and future Programmes (e.g. Horizon Europe).
