The DCU Centre for Decarbonisation, Sustainability and Innovation (DESI) seeks to address climate change challenges by developing cleaner energy systems and embedding innovative and sustainable solutions that will lead to global impact.

The DCU Institute for Climate & Society is Ireland’s first academic research centre focused on social science and humanities perspectives on the climate crisis. The Institute’s research, education, and engagement activities start from the premise that the solutions to climate change are available, and that the blocks to action are to be found among societal actors, processes and dynamics.

The DCU Water Institute (WI) is a cross-faculty initiative of research and education on water.
