Digital Maker Space
Reinventing your teaching and learning through digital media
The Digital Maker Space allows you to independently and easily create digital resources that helps enhance your teaching and learning. The flexibility provided through the space allows for the creation of a wide format of digital resources such as professional recordings of lecture materials, audio podcasts and other short audio visual pieces.
The Digital Maker Space is funded by DCU Futures through Human Capital Initiative 3.
The Digital Maker Space is located in room GAG05, ground floor of the Nano Research Facility (NRF) building, Glasnevin Campus.
To book the Digital Maker Space, please check the calendar for availability and then complete the webform below. We will be in touch to confirm the booking and then it will be added to the calendar.
- Pre-production meetings are highly recommended for every person who plans to create a digital resource.
- Prepare your presentation materials. Using the available teleprompter ensures you address all of the material you plan to cover in the session. In our experience, those who prepare a script ahead of time are more likely to get to all of their material in a shorter amount of takes than those who present “off the cuff.”
- Wearing dark, plain clothing helps you stand out against our green screen. Additionally, please avoid wearing green and white clothing.
