Dr Monica Ward

Monica Ward is the Dean of Teaching and Learning at DCU and was formerly the Assistant Head for Teaching Excellence in the School of Computing. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Authority and a leader in teaching, learning and assessment in Higher Education.  Her research interests include Computer Assisted Language Learning, Computer Science Education, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Educational Technologies and Human Factors in Computing. She has extensive teaching experience and is a pioneer in the use of technology in education across primary, secondary and third level sectors.
